Hey guys when is the next swap meet going to be?  I thaught we were gonna make another one and haven't heard anything about it.  I have a guy who wants to get rid of a very nice AR and I told him I knew some guys that might be interested.  I would buy this one but money is short.

What's he selling and for how much??

If you know of a good deal, share the wealth.  We're just not supposed to post our own WTS/WTT/WTB adds in anywhere other than the EE.

To answer your question, I haven't thought much about it.  I really think though that we need to do something away from a gun range.  Once guys start shooting, no one is interested in selling stuff.  The few deals I made at the last one were deals I had worked out before the meet.

I'm hoping my little newsletter idea will help guys sell stuff they don't want to list in the EE for whatever reason.

Yea i am not posting for sale ad here.  It isn't mine how can I post such  a thing.

If I have a friend who has a oly arms ar , flat top, 20 inch aftermarket barrel (forget what kind very expensive), free floating hand guard, chrome bolt and carrier.

And I just want to know when I can meet with some guys and someone can get a nice rifle.  I don't think he has a set price he told me to see what i could get for it.  He never uses it anymore.

That said, Bradd_D, just let me know when you plan on selling something next, then I'll post the "I know a guy who is selling X for $Y, what a great deal!" here in the Georgia hometown forums.

I just talked Bradd out of his LMT BUIS.  It will probably be another 2-3 days before he sells anything else.

BRF - When your buddy figures out what he wants to do, post in here so the local guys will know.  Also, is your buddy a member here?  If not, why not??

Translated (sorta) for the German impaired:

Bradd is a German? Bradd, how gehts? What is the matter? I speak a little German. In former times we lived on Wiesbaden. They are moved all, worry themselves you over them not.

The following message is how Babel Fish translated it, I take no credit/blame for the translation.

Not bad Geekdude!
Wie Gehts? = How are you?
Was ist los? = What's happening?
Frueher wohnten wir auf Wiesbaden. = We used to live in Wiesbaden. (near Frankfurt; when I was in the Air Force)
Sie sind alle verrückt, sorgen Sie sich über sie nicht. = They're all crazy, don't worry about them!

Something is always lost in the translation..........

According to Babel Fish:

Bemannen Sie, nachdem wir Hitler's Esel traten, Sie Kerlsicheres gemacht zu ein Bündel Pussies.

Bookhound,
I'm really not too good at this.............Here is a translation, but remember there is a loss of meaning in translation. Anyway here you go: Mann nachdem kickten wir den arsch von Hitler, Sie Kerle sicher verwandelt in ein Bündel von der Fotze

Probably wrong.......but close

I think it would be cool to have a group meet somewhere other than at the shooting range.  One option might be after gun shows.  I also think it would be cool to have a cookout somewhere.  Thoughts?

I think a cookout and a swap meet next weekend.  Just my 2 cent.
