[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Defensive Pistol training class

Several people in the Hackathorn class have asked me If I would be willing to do a Basic Defensive Pistol training class in prep for the Hack class.

So here is what i'm planning:
two 1/2 day skill building classes at the Pickens Co. Range
covering
Gear
range safety
draw
single and multiple target drills.
shooting on the move
the class is aimed at defensive shooting but would also be a excellent class for anyone who would like to shoot IDPA.

00bullitt im'd mike about the class on saturday, but we haven't gotten a response. Does anyone know how much ammo and gear needs to be brought?

I went through about 350 rounds. You'll need a holster, hearing and eye protection. Bring water to drink. If you need it bring/use sunblock and a hat.

Have fun. I've got relatives in town this week or else I would go again.
