[ARCHIVED THREAD] - EOTech mounting Questions.....

Will the EOTech's just bolt onto a flat top upper without any special mounts? Just curious because I'm thinking about getting one for my Bushmaster A3.

The EOTech is designed to be mounted directly to the flat top to allow it to co-witness to the sights.
I have the 512 on my M4 setup that I use as my patrol rifle and have it mounted forward on my RAS. It still cowitnesses perfectly and havent had any problems with it.

Its my patrol rifle that I use for police work. We have to supply our own rifles if we want to carry one.
