Just saw a magazine (Shooting Illustrated) in the bookstore.  
Had the infamous tri-power on top of a rifle on the cover page.  Author of the cover page article mentioned he used the tri-power to test the rifle and it (tri-power) behaved very well.

Now... what's the deal?  It's only available for a few "elected"?

Anybody has any news about it?

The last I heard was that they had stopped production to meet orders for the troops who were deployed. They are supposed to start again as sson as they get caught up.

Just got that reinforced ring Armalite is send free to their AR owners.  They really have a very good customer support.

They also sent a new catalogue.  Guess what they are offering there?  Trijicon TriPower @ $450.

One more selling vaporware?  :-)

Trust me, if someone had them in stock and was shipping them, we'd have posts out the butt.

They are still mythical other than some pre-production evaluation samples that got out.
