I did the refinance thing last fall. Mine was at 5.1%, changed my 30 year note to 15 years and save 60K.

Ditto at 5.5% to 15 thru GMAC(bastards)...saved bookoo $$.
I wouldn't mind saving another .5% though. Is there any cost whatsoever to move to his Mort. Co.? gilfrd |

I paid some closing costs, but all in all, pretty minimal.
