On our way home from SC, to NY, today my girlfriend got pulled over for an 83 in 65 just outside Statesville. Right now the court date is the second week of July. Anybody have advice for a lawyer who won't cost an arm and a leg since coming back in the middle of the week would mean 2 or 3 days off work? Not sure it works the same for out of state, but I'd think so... Give it a week or two, and you'll get a dozen offers in your mailbox. |

I don't practice in Iredell County, but generally in Mecklenburg County traffic tickets go from $150-350 depending on the county/charge(s)/attorney. You'll also have to pay court costs, which usually run between $200-300. You should get some mailers from attorneys that cover that county.

Well, it's all done now. Came to: $75 for laywer, $25 fine, and over $200 for the court fees.

Yes because you got points.. My son had a 60 in 45.. in Dutchess county rt 9..
Illegal parking in front of fire hydrant. Plus taking a safety calls.. $500.00 between court fees the safety class but no points.  Welcome to NYS.. how to tax you one way or another.
