I will be having surgery tomorrow At Wake Forrest Baptist Hospital  to remove a tumor. There is mass effect upon the left anterolateral aspect of the spinal cord at the level of C7-T1 secondary to an intradural extramedullary mass which measures approximately 8 x 10 x 12 mm.

Wish me luck.

I'll keep you in thought and prayer, Tavern! I was in for a S1-L5 microdiscectomy 4 weeks ago. My surgery went very well, and recovery was even quicker than expected. These surgeons have really got it all down to a science(no pun intended). You'll be back up and at'em before you know it!

Regards,
    Tony

Hey every thing turned out ok doc said it looks benign will find out for sure when the lab results come back. I got 4 titanium screws and rods to put the bone back together. I got out of the hospital late last Monday afternoon and this is the first  time I had a chance to get on the computer. Im also on oxygen because for some reason my O2 levels are still low.

Great to hear it worked out for you Sam. For the rest of us...it may take some time to get used to a bionic version of Taverndog. Better, stronger, fast.. well, that's probably pushing it   Here's wishing you a speedy recovery! Sempre Fi
