Be on the lookout.  80gig ipod classic, silver with a scratch on the screen.  Its kinda old and beat up looking.

Dell insprion 17" laptop.

Black Kodak digital camera.  Nothing fancy about it....

I doubt anybody would notice any of these items... but all three together should sound an alarm.

Wow, sorry to hear that.  Was this taken from your vehicle or home?  What part of the state?

I hate thieves and liars .

Sorry to hear that, man.

That kind of thing has a way of ruining your week.

If it makes you feel any better, I was talking to a friend of mine at lunch whose house recently burnt down.  Lost pretty much everything including all his guns except his CCW pistol.

Thank God his family survived unscathed.

Did you file a police report?

Damn dude.   Was it forced entry? What time of day did it happen? Cops dust for prints, etc etc.

My Suburban was broken into about 10 years back at the boat ramp at Sharon Harris reservoir in Wake county. I was there night fishing with my buddy. I had been skeet shooting the day before, and had left my Browning 425 Citori in the back, along with my chainsaw. They broke into the truck and stole the shotgun, chainsaw, and my CD case, but left the ham radio, the stereo, and the $300 Revo sunglasses. I guess they figured they scored enough. Bastards. Called the law, they came out, dusted for prints, etc., filed the S/N with them. I keep hoping one of these days I'm going to get a call saying, "Sir, we have recovered your Browning shotgun."

I feel your pain. It sucks getting robbed, regardless of the what or how much. I wish you luck in finding the bastard(s) and recovering your property.

Got in to the house.  I suspect they may have taken advantage of my lockset, which unknown to me at the time can be rekeyed without being taken apart.  One of the deadbolts got broken about two weeks ago, I guess that was a failed entry attempt.

I bought another laptop and am just waiting for the insurance to send the check.  It worked out well enough.  I got a better laptop for less money, my ipod was broken anyway.  Unfortunately all my little guy's baby pics are gone.

Damn. Sorry to hear that Steven, that's the real loss in the deal.

Seems like the frequency of this sort of crap is on the rise in our area.
Alas, only part of this trend is due to our present economic malaise.
We reap what our society has sown...goblins.

Sorry to hear of your loss(es) - I can't stand a thief either.  Last week 2 thieves broke into our gun show trailer that we lock up out back - they stole some storage bags & my MAGLINER hand truck!

We have around umpteen minutes of video surveillance but the imagery at that time of morning was less than good/no prints either.
