Hi NC AR15ers... I just moved up to RTP from Atlanta. Just wanted to pass along a hello. Really enjoying it up here so far. Anyone have a recommendation on a FFL in or around the area. I'm currently in Durham. Sounds like the gun laws are sweeping our way here before the years out, which is great. I'm looking into getting a concealed carry, does that require a course in this state or just a visit to the local sheriff's office? Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, looked around but figured I'd ask.
Cheers! |

Then you have to go to your sheriff and fill out forms and pay another 100 bones, then your good for five years. Well worth the money though. Welcome home! |

The Arsenal in Roxboro is another good bet. They don't generally have a huge amount of stock, but their prices are reasonable, they will order what you want, and they do NFA stuff if that interests you. They also offer the NC CHP class for $60. My wife just took it last Saturday.
