I have a permit issued in Ga. I'm heading to NC next month for the weekind. I want to take my 1911 with me. Does NC reconize a GA permit?
If so Can I keep it concealed or how does NC law work. It's going to be in my vehicle, thn in my room. |
| Yes. NC and GA reciprocate. I know they're a lot more restrictive than GA, but just study their laws for a little bit before you go and you should be fine. NC Firearms Law |

You need to go to Handgunlaw.us and print it out. It is one of the best sources for concealed carry law. Remember, you are required to notify any law enforcement that approaches you that you are permitted and carrying. The link also lists the off limits areas.
The link in the post above is okay but not very specific to your needs. The handgun law link is very current and very much written for the concealed carrier in regards to the laws. |
