So far all the posts on our happy little hometown board. Is anyone besides me from SC? Patrick |

Patrick, I know there are alot of members from SC. I am your next door neighbor from Kings Mountain, NC. I do want to say that you have the best beaches in the world, bar none. I go to Myrtle Beach at least 5 to 6 times a year. Also my wife works in SC. What part of SC do you live? Rambosky - Over.......... |
Someone else from SC here. I live just south of Spartanburg.
I'd love to go 5 or 6 times a year! I haven't been there since Hazel hit. I stayed in a friend of the family's house in North Myrtle. I've heard that all of the front row houses and many of the second row houses were wiped-out. That house is long gome. A friend, that passed away recently, said that he saw the tops of the waves above the tops of the some of the houses on the front row. Wow. I can't imagine how much it has changed since then.z |
| I usually go to the outdoor range in Liberty. It is about the most user friendly range I have ever been. I am originally from Michigan where the range officers act like Prison Gaurds. I am big time into sport bike motorcycles and ride up in the mountains quite a bit. Also enjoy camping up on the Blue Ridge. |
By-the-by, G-MAN, I'm soon going to become a member (sponsored by my bud the SCHP officer) of a gun club down in Greenwood that has a 300-yd rifle range, a pistol range, and trap/skeet, as well. It's a pretty good drive, but the range is worth it. uh oh......Spartanburg AREA.......sorry 'bout that; you may smack me back at your convenience, G-MAN |
Nah, you were right the first time - "Fabulous Metropolitan Spartanburg" sounds better (aka Sparkle City |
Check for Dept Natural Resources for local ranges. www.dnr.state.sc.us/etc/rulesregs/img/huntingrules.pdf Pages 3-4. |
