Ah the infamous Brady charge at hyatts on top of their already rediculously high prices. Move along and shop elsewhere.

That would be the "We are going to charge a fee to uninformed people who shop here" fee.

Please tell me they sell Golf clubs or Ski's on the other side of the store.  How the hell do these stores stay open?

There are so many issues with that picture I cannot even to list them as I am ROTFLMAO!

Why are you in there?

I negotiate the price down on what I get from them...the $12 is not that bad when you are getting the gun for the Firepower price...assuming Firepower does not have stock.

But why pay anything?
I'm confused. What the heck are they charging the $12 for?

I think the $12 is just for them letting you be in the store.

Are you asking what their justification is for the fee?  They say it's due to increased workload due to the Brady Bill...to help "cover those costs"

We all know that the extra work is negligible...and is a cost of doing business.  No other gun stores do it...just Hyatt.

So to answer your spwcific question to me...I would pay that fee if they had a gun I really wanted...and that happened to me last year.  I wanted a 2-tone XD45 Tactical.  Hyatt was the only place that had one, and when I got them down by $50, they were right at the same price as Firepower...but Firepower didn't have stock.

The choice was...pay the BS fee and get the gun I wanted, or tell them to BUZZ off, and not get the gun I wanted.  You choose who you do business with, and for me $12 isn't going to stop me from buying hte gun I want.

The $12.00 charge is for unintelligent people probably a way to get more from there cliental . Hyatt's already ask for MSRP plus 10% every time I go in I just love to laugh.
