My roommate wanted milk of all things.

In Arden (south Asheville) we have about 8" of snow. And it is still coming down heavily.

Here is a picture from 4pm.

A reporter about 3 miles away measured 9 inches.

Interstate 26 is a parking lot headed westbound (or north).

I'm stuck at the Charlotte airport trying to get to Phiily... so far I'll be in Philly at 2am If I didn't have to worry about the miles on my lease, I'd drive up there!

People here are so funny, they hear the word snow and milk & bread are sold out at walmart. Why are people scared of a few inches of snow?

Sleet and freezing rain at my house.  Lots of branches falling outside, hoping nothing too big hits the house.

Yeah I had to work in the 'stuff' today.  I got home, loaded up our van, and headed for the gun show load in.  All is well in that department.  Meanwhile back @ HQ Central (Greer SC) it's kind of sleety/snowy/raining if that's a word.  I know in my heart it is simply going to suck when I get up to leave in the morning.

My pal in Hendersonville says he is snowed in.  We have bread.  We have milk.  Dinner is cooking, & we have bier!

This morning I  drove to Elkin, where the sky proceeded to take a huge snowy dump on me. Decided to ditch Mt. Airy, and drove back to Greensboro, got my own car, and drove to Wilmington for the gun show. Was pretty nasty anywhere west of Burlington, but still rainy and windy down to the beach. Milk and bread? Why would I want that if I was snowed in? Id rather have a pound of bacon, a dutch master, and a copy of The Shotgun News.

I always thought the reason for milk and bread was to have something to wash down the last can of cat food and to make a cat sammich.

About 8" of snow and about 4" of sleet. Hard as hell to push. Most snow I have seen since 93. Near Brevard NC.

We got around 8" or so here in Rutherford County.  My wife really had fun out on the Deere clearing out driveway and road.

We got a little stir crazy so we drove in to town earlier.  Restocked the sodas and beers.
