I have some NFA stuff, and want to occasionally bring them in to NC.  Everything is a SBR or Suppressor.  I have found that even with a 5320.20 I may not be able to do this because I have no FFL.  Information on Bardwells NFA site indicates that NC requires a FFL to posess NFA goodies.  Is this correct?  Do all of you with NFA stuff have FFLs of one type or another?

Crap, I might have to get a C&R just to be able to do this...

No FFL is required to obtain NFA items, though a Sheriff issued permit is required to get a machine gun, though I don't think there are any issues bringing one in temporarily on a 5320.20.  You also wont need any paperwork if you are just bring the suppressors.

BATFE has approved a friends transfer form from VA to NC... I don't think it is an issue...
