| Well i spent 90% of today in the Caswell County game lands and saw a grand total of 2 doves a deer and a turkey.......Anyone know of a better place to dove hunt? (I live in Guilford county willing to drive 2 hours) |

GL fields are going to be hit or miss.
I knew of some pay hunts for opening weekend, but not sure if they have any on following weekends. Last year I did a pay hunt ($75) that included lunch and drinks in the field. It was near Tarborro. It was well worth the money. Have been on hunts in the sandhills area and did OK, but not like the place in Tarborro. Try some NC hunting forums (refuge, ncducks, etc) for information. A historically good dove hunt will not need to be advertised though! |
