| Got there early on Saturday, line was still long. I went for the sole reason of getting some primers and powder. I found what I was looking for at a fair price and bought it as fast as I could before the prices went up. I walked around for a bit, just sort of shaking my head in disbelief at the prices. One table had plain Jane SKS’s for $1000.00 each, AK’s for $2400.00 and the AR’s were running about $2500.00, stripped lowers for $600.00. I was not sure if they were serious or just trying to make a statement. Saw other weapons at other tables a little more realistically priced. Ammo prices were double or triple what Wal-Mart is selling same thing for. After about an hour or two the crowd got to me and I took my powder and primers and left. Wonder what the January show is going to be like? After all its three days before Osama takes office. |
