I know it's illegal to sell to someone across State lines(NC/SC). But if I wanted to buy a pistol from a private seller in NC/GA can we go to his/her FFL and do a legal transfer?
I hate 4473's but no one seems to be selling much that I'm interested in from SC.

A handgun would have to go thru an FFL in your state. A long gun could go thru either.
