If you pay to camp overnight, does the fee include the range fee?

Thanks in advance.....

No it does not include the range fee.

But if you primitive camp that is free the campgrounds are where you have to pay to stay at them.

When I was there for the ARFCOM camp/shoot, the clerk at Eldorado let me buy two dated one-day passes at once, so you can pick up a pass for each day you're there without making a trip out of the forest every day.

As far as camping, you can just pull off the road and camp, or there are the campgrounds (never used them, so not sure on fees).

So let me get this straight.......I have camped (tent and pop-up) there twice. Both times at the campground (paid).

You have to get a range pass at the local store(s).....right.....Is it one for every shooter (adults and children)?

You can just pull off anywhere and camp at no charge?

Thanks for the info....

Yep.

Adults, yes; one pass per adult per day.  I think there may be something special for children, but I'm not certain.  nooneimportant may know.

I have seen tents set up at random intervals off the road, and ARFCOM did it over Easter with no consequence, so I think it's safe to say you can do it.

You can camp for free at Hunt Camp and I'm pretty sure you can primitive camp along the OHV trails. I know it's legal, I'm just not sure what (if any) restrictions there are on where you can.

All will be revealed

As you can see under 16 is free. $3 per person per day, $30 for a year pass.

Bring targets and target stands there is nothing on site to hang targets on.

I may go out camping and shooting sometime next week depending on when I have to go in for surgery on my shooting hand.

I'm planning on going out this coming weekend.  What is the best way to get there from Charlotte?  I can't get directions from my GPS or mapquest.  NE-1 going this coming Saturday?

depends on which side of charlotte.

I like taking 85 to 49 then ride 49 almost all the way.

Then what?  49 runs through the forest, then where do I  go?

Take 49 to 109 south till you see the Eldorado Outpost on the right then go about 1/2 mile and you will see the entrance to Uwharrie. If you are driving in a car I would recommend that you take Mullinex road entrance which is about a 1/2 mile before the Outpost its paved most of the  way. You will take Mullinex all the way to the end of it then take a right and take that to the end at the gravel road take a left take that till it ends at another gravel road take a right and the range will be an your left.

I wish I could go again this weekend but I will be in Goldsboro to have my new custom front bumper put on my Trooper.

Thanks, and I hope that bumper looks as good as you expect it to.  I am pretty excited to try my M70 that should be here day after tomorrow from Century.  I'll have a few choice items with me.
