Do you still have to have your weapon in glovebox, center console even if you have a CWP in SC or can it be on your person in vehicle? Looked at laws and couldnt find it. Thanks |

SC Gun Laws SECTION 16-23-20. Plus the little know reg about going hunting, fishing or target shooting! That's right folks you can carry a gun on your person while traveling both to & from a hunting or fishing trip. The same applies to a trip both to & from a shooting range. Now this means a direct path to & from these locations or activities it will not allow you to stop and gas up or buy a burger etc. Ya better have a valid hunting or fishing license to claim that's what you're doing or always have a target stand and range bag full of ammo in the trunk. Pretty cool regulation huh? |
