Friday I got an email that my company need me to go to Afghanistan to install comms gear on some mraps so off I go I will be stayin their for the duration of my contract. going to bagram first then I don't know were. right now I'm stuck in Kuwait waiting on a flight. fun times |

I was at one of the accountability roll calls some one stoll my ipod they didn't take my camera that was in the open and worth more then the ipod no they reach under my sheets right next to my special sock and take my ipod. Little do they know that the ear phones are bad and will shock you when you try to use them all I can hope for is they get a good shock. still no flight in to Afghanistan so another day spent wasting away here in AAS they did a test of the incoming alarm yesterday and I almost went looking for the bunker. we had incoming daily when I was in balad well got to go don't know when I will be back on. and if any one sees someone listing to an 80 gig ipod classic and they get shocked kick them in the balls for me. |
I am really getting pissed off at thieves! Stealing should be punishable by taking a digit. Would cut B&E and Robbery in half. End of story. Stay sharp and come back soon.. CXS |

This was my home in Kandahar for a year. 6'x8' room in a tent shared with 6 guys, and an occasional visitor. No love for contractors. A plus was that I was close enough to work (SATCOM/TCF/DOIM) that we had a wired ethernet hub in the tent. That and my static IP made for a LOT of internet time. | i think you have more room than i do we are in tent set up for 20 people on 10 bunks thankfuly there is only 9 in there but i barly have room for me let alone a desk i just have my computer on my bed and no inter net the whating list for a wet chu is crazy i wont get one till april maybe. Knowing my luck i will get close to geting one and i will go somewere else. Thats what happend to me in balad i was number 12 then they sent me here so i go to the back of the list. |
