The renewal sheet mentioned that your check may not be cashed until the middle of March. I have not looked at my account to see if the check has cleared or not. I would guess that the new card will go out next week. As for the waiting list and phone call, when I got in last year, I did not receive the phone call until a few days prior to the orientation meeting...I think on Thursday. I believe that the orientation meeting is set for March 18, so they will probably start calling next week. Good luck to all trying to join and make sure you answer all calls in the next couple of weeks because they will probably only try you once and if they cannot reach you will cross your name off of the list. |

I stopped at Young Guns this week and asked about the calls. John told me the renewal processing was about done and they were getting ready to start calling potential new members -- he did not say anything specific, but I got the impression it might be this week - and in the evening. As mentioned, stand by your phone. They will not leave voice mails -- you've gotta be there to say yes. |

saturnstyl - Don't give up yet. As Lex said, maybe they stopped last night and will continue tonight. They probably stop calling at 9:00 PM so as not to disturb those with kids or who have to work early. I hope you can get in. But if not, you are welcome as a guest anytime. |
Got my renewal card today too!  I plan on getting one of the open pits if there are any, Just keep an eye out for the Tactical Ironing Board.  Heads up! You all want to be there when deuce shows up  |
| I counted 20+ cars so there were a lot of new members today! 5 of the people who got called were no shows! I asked John of SSI and he said membership was capped at 200 people. Showed up eary with ready-aim-fire, shot some, then deuce showed up. After the orientation Lex joined the crew and we all yucked it up a bit. Long day for me, left house at 9;15 got back about 3:15. Good time though! Congrats new members! |
Hey if they didn't show up.... does that mean there is an opening, or do I have to wait until next year still? |
Call John at Young Guns, I don't know how they handle situations like this. In the meantime I'll extend the invite when I plan to go next time and hopefully other members will as well. |

SaturnStyl- Call John at Young Guns!!! Who knows....."No" is the worst you can hear. I had a great time shooting and BS'ing w/AssaultRifler, Deuce03 and ReadyAimFire. Thanks for sharing guys! Next time, I should bring some Smithfield's BBQ for everyone...it was a long day out there. Lex |
