I'm meeting a gentleman to.... Buy my first AR! Yay! Anyway, I'm meeting him in Morganton (halfway between us) but know little about the town. Is there somewhere that you all know of that would be a good place for us to meet and make the swap? Preferably right off of I-40 in that general area. Thanks! |

Sounds like a good place if I can get him to agree on it. :) @Chris, It's a DPMS 20" flat-top, A2 stock, bayo-lug, flash hider, 2 mags, 100 rounds of ammo and a cleaning-kit for $600. The only thing it's missing is a carry-handle/BUIS, so I'm trying to sort that out now. Any suggestions for a cheap alternative to those $80 BUIS? |
I hate to say it, but maybe eBay.  I did a quick search on there for "DPMS" and a bunch of carry handles popped up. It looks like ~$55 shipped if you go the Buy it Now price. It'll probably be some CHICOM stuff, but it'll work. If you have time, wait it out and something will pop up on the Equipment Exchange. CHRIS |
