Does anyone know if Franklin County is Class III friendly? Was interested in getting a suppressor. Anyone have any info.

The only counties that I know for sure are friendly are Burke and Rowan. There seem to be many others that will sign if you know the Sheriff well.

My son lives in Jackson County, ran into the sherriff while he was with a friend who was picking up a purchase permit. He asked about class 3, full auto. Sherriff says "Sounds like fun, I'd like to shoot it." He's okay with it.

Wouldn't that be nice, that's the way it should be. I am going to make an appointment to meet the Sheriff and get his thoughts on the matter. Wish me luck.
