Hey guys,
does anyone know of any dist. of ammo located in NC.  I mainly order online or visit the friendly gun shop.

I would like to get some online pricing without the shipping charges.  Somewhere  closer for direct pickup.

In lower middle part of the state.

Thanks,
nct

Just hit the next local gunshow.  The AmmunitionStore shows up at the Raleigh show on a regular basis.

www.pdhsc.com/ was selling 1000 rounds of .45ACP earlier this week for 150 bucks.

I don't remember what other calibers were selling for. I forget what brand it was but it was NOT the Lancer reload they normaly sell in bulk.

I would have bought some but I still had close to a thousand rounds in the trunk of my car after shooting.

Ed's down in Vass had quite a lot of the mundane calibers on hand the last time I was down there.

you can stop by Classic Arms store in Indian Trail as well if you're down the Charlotte/Monroe way.
check out their website and prices.

I would only say, What you save in shipping charges you'll pay in sales tax.

AmmunitionStore.com  charges NC sales tax at gun shows in NC.

Wholesale hunter is good or try Aimsurplus

Ammoman is ok but the no shipping charges doesn't mean a whole lot of savings for us down here since we are in the same UPS zone.

Thanks guys,
Forgot about the whole lack of sales tax thing.  A brain fart.

Looking for NATO-like calibers and a few Russian.

Guess it is time to cowboy up and visit one of those horrible gun shows.  ha

thanks,

What EXACTLY are you looking for?  Unfortunately if you live in NC, you are going to have to pay tax on an NC deal.  You may come out better buying slightly out of state and having it shipped or making the drive to pick up.  (if that is an option...)

IM me if you are looking for some quality 5.56 ammo in NC.  You will still have to pay tax (and drive to get it, but it's there...)

Thanks!
