[ARCHIVED THREAD] - New Shooting Range! HELP anyone?

Hello all, today I had the pleasure to participate with the Virginia State Police's Southwest VA Tactical Team training. Needless to say, their MP5's were a hoot to watch. They even let me have a go with one. We had 2 passenger cars to shoot up, a mini van, an old bus and numerous pumkins. Although I am new to this website, a friend of mine who allowed the VA State Police shoot on his land with help for me are going to develop a Shooting Range. There are two different levels each with dirt back stops. The only thing that we will really need is expert advise on yardages, and other essentials. It is located about 3 miles inside of Virginia just North of Mt. Airy NC. I will get up with Threefiftynone and he will be able to tell you guys more!!

COOL! It does not take me long to get to VA. I am just South East of Mayberry. I hope you guys will someday be able to host ISPC shoots.

I just got off the phone with AirScare, ~~Tony Rumore~~, and a few other folks.

We're gonna let this thread die down while we get our ducks in a row, mmkay?

There is much "behind the scenes" work to be done, before the range goes hot. I'll contact you locals as needed.

Let this thread fall into oblivion, while we work on the details.
