[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Internet provider??

In greensboro the Internet provider for dsl (cable), for the house, is slim to none. Just about the only one I can think of is "road runner". Bellsouth doesn't offer anything. I've got dsl at the office and that's where most of my computer time is spent but looking for something better than dial up at home without sacrificing my left nut on cost.

Road Runner is about the same price as Bellsouth DSL and around the same speed (prob. a little faster)

Cable is a lot more reliable and faster than DSL also. You'll pull down better download speeds and upload faster as well.

in my experience DSL is much more stable than cable, at least Bellsouth is.

we have RR and it is the shit......................but i am looking into DSL cause its half the cost.........I say less net/more ammo.........
