Heard someone using primer only rounds to shoot their qualification. Any input on this? Ammo requirement not specified? I know how I feel about just curious if the law allows it.
Thanks. |

Am I understanding you correct there is no projectile?? Totally illegal and in fact a crime. That would qualify as lying on the qualification portion of a concealed carry endorsement. TURN THE FUCKER IN ASAP !!!!!!! |

The primer only rounds I have do in fact have a projectile.
Why you would use them I don't know, kinda hard to find and more money than regular rounds. Maybe he bought a butt load during the . 22 scare, lol. Legally, can't say for sure, but it is sold as ammunition. |

Primer only as in no powder but still uses a projectile. Not sure if it's the Aguila Super Colibri or something else.
Like I said I know how I feel about it just wasn't sure if it's a legal type of ammo for a ccw qual. I've not found anything that specifies the requirements of ammo types. |

Maybe they're in a building that is not a true range......no bullet trap or air ventilation. So they use something that can just be shot into a wall and isn't lead? Just a theory.
Also, maybe the light rounds to control the noise?? So the students don't need ear protection or neighbor issues? |
