[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Local CMP affiliates - KC area

Looking to order from CMP. Need to satisfy the local affiliate portion of the CMP membership qualifications. Anyone know of a good local affiliate that I can join real quick? I did notice that Kansas Hunters Education is an affiliate. I suppose I could find my KS Hunters Ed card from the '70s, but wouldn't have a clue who to find to sign off on the CMP paperwork.

That leaves me looking for a good local affiliate to join and get the paperwork signed. Any suggestions?

I think you can join the Garand Collector's Association online.

There's a group that meets out at Mill Creek Rifle Club in De Soto. I can't find the guy's email address, but if you contact the KSRA CMP contact they can give you his name and email. I want to say the name of the Mill Creek organizer was Sandy (he's a guy).
