Since we're on the topic... And because SUB_MG sent me a happy email last night...
... Anyone know of a shop capable of doing good barrel threading in the KC area? (Or as far out as Columbia/Jeff City if they can do while-I-wait...)

Just under a five-month turn on my Form 4 was faster than expected and I haven't gotten anything threaded for the new Sparrow.

I had Moon do mine a month ago.  Crescent Customs great guy to deal with.

not exactly what you were looking for but there is a gun in Lenexa a friend used that did a good job.  that said, I would just send it to adco

GA Precision is in NKC.  I heard that snapshots can do it too, but I don't know their quality.

I just sent two barrels to adco to be cut/threaded and they were back to me 9 days after I shipped them.  With that said you might try GA Precision as someone else had mentioned.

Edit:  you can't brag on getting stamps without posting pics.....please

Bret mentioned GAP when I picked it up. Definitely will keep them in mind.

I had GAP thread my rifles and they did an amazing job, you can barely see the transition from the barrel to the thread protector and the threads have minimal play with the suppressor.

Awesome, thanks for all the leads!

Now ... to make it all happen. (Rifle needs to go back to Savage for some work, then I'll sweat the threading.)
