I fly into Lambert AP in STL tonight at 10pm, then rent a car. Glad to meet for dinner somewhere if anyone is around.
Then I'm in the Waynesville area until Tuesday or Wednesday, if anyone wants to meet up in Springfield or vicinity for eats. Monday and eve will be busy but not very late. |

Hi welcome. I'm not sure how much coverage your local stations are giving this area but just to keep you in the loop, the STL Airport is in what can be considered the "Ferguson danger zone". Also be aware that the rental car lots are NOT on airport property and border potential rough areas. There is LOTs of chatter about major rioting and violence once the Grand Jury's rulling comes out. Word is that the news will not be released until tomorrow afternoon but you not being from the area should be aware that the rental car office and airport are in an area that has potential for this violence and crap to spill over into. So get into town, hop on the shuttle to the rental car place across the highway from the airport. Get your car and get back on the highway as soon as you can and you'll be fine.

| SS is right, it's all speculation at this point, as to when info is going to be released and what the reaction will be- but the Lambert area and rental lots are near. Get your car and travel further out of the metro. Especially if you're unarmed and unfamiliar with your surroundings. Good luck in your travels. |
