Good Morning Everyone,

I currently have my NRA LE Handgun/Shotgun, & NRA Basic Pistol Certs, and am on file as a State of Missouri CCW Instructor.  I don't do CCW classes much, generally just per person as its wanted.

However I was recently contacted by management at my main job in regards to a group of about 8 wanting to get their KS permit (all KS residents).  So I am trying to find out how big of a deal it would be to get certified in KS as an instructor as well?  Also what additional stuff do I need to know for KS? Shooting qual, revolver and semi? etc?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Jon

Unlike Missouri, the state of Kansas handles training materials to be covered. Here is a link of KS instructor information:

What are the chances that you will have Kansas people in the future? You will have to download and fill out the Kansas Instructor application, fill it out and get a 2x2 photo taken in the last 30 days. The fee is $100 and you will have to attend a Kansas Instructor course in Kansas within 6 months. So you need to weight the options of if its worth your investment, in may be easier to have someone else that is Kansas certified do it.

Thanks for the info guys.  I do have a guarantee of about 8 students 1 time in the immediate future, however I don't know that that is worth all the work for it.
