Where do you guys recommend I buy fireworks in the KC area? Last year I bought some at the RedX in Riverside. I may be traveling to Omaha that week & have seen some really big stores in Rock Port, MO off  I-29. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you are going to Omaha, Rockport would be a good place. They have the one right there at the exit, and there is also a store a few miles north of the Rockport exit on the west side of 29.

Thanks for the advice guys; Schneitters in StJoe sounds promising. Seems like a lot of times you can drive ALL over town looking for deals, but most the prices are pretty much the same.

There are a couple tents south of Harrisonville on 71 hwy. Kovacs in St. Joe has always been pretty reasonable.

Try to find these. They look like a firecracker but it has no fuse.  You just throw them like the little kiddie paper poppers but these are loud and a hellaofa lot of fun.

For those of you old enough to remember, they are about as loud as the outlawed "Cracker Balls"

For you young un's, Cracker Balls looked like Kiks Cereal that is brightly colored.
