I know it's a long shot, but still a shot...a good friend of mine from way back in high school is returning to civilian life after being an Army MP, she's been out of work for quite some time now and was looking to help her out whether it's just suggestions or if someone knows of a place that needs help. I suggested trying some of the local ranges but I know it's not very promising. Also suggested LEO but she has a youngster at home too so some of the weird shifts would leave her in a bind. So she is looking for a day job at least somewhat related to what she was doing until she gets her job back. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated

Has she tried loss prevention at any of the big box stores?

I'm afraid shes gonna have a rough go of trying to land a job in her in her niche that will work around her preferred schedule...

I agree, it is pretty tough with the schedule. She knows she will have her job back, it's just been taking way too long to get the call. Getting very stir crazy. I will mention the loss prevention option. Cheap told me today Gander is hiring, might be something to consider.

More or less forget LEO.  Loss prevention is a good option, and some PS dispatch centers may have openings but again they are going to be highly competitive and having a young child that can effect your availability will make her less marketable...
