Ok guys, I have a couple of ARs, one is a regular CMMG with a mid length MI rail, a great trigger job, and a TA01 Acog. Another is s Black Rain piston gun with a Acog TA31 DOC, and 2 are bone stock Bushys. I also have a DPMS stock lower that was a Walmart special sportical that had a bad round damage the upper to the point that it has to be scrapped. I picked it up dirt cheap from the guy who had the round go off and was more interested in just getting a new gun than fixing it. the upper is total junk except for the barrel believe it or not, so I got to thinking, why not build something interesting with it! I would just as soon scrap the barrel too and start fresh, I have a decent budget to work with but I want the gun to be worth what I put into it when I'm done, so, I'm looking for ideas! If you had a good lower laying around and a little cash to blow, what would you do with it? Thoughts, comments, or suggestions?

I like the way he thinks

If you don't have an AR pistol, everyone needs one of those! I find that my 10.3 inch with a rainier arms XTC brake will really wake up the neighbors! And while you're at it, cerakote the whole think FDE or pink, which ever suits you more I wanna do that to an AR eventually. FDE that is...

Edit: throw the 10.3 on a upper (link below), get you a pistol tube for your lower, grab a hand guard, Rainier XTC, and a primary arms red dot, and you have a fun little pistol!! Oh, and then you'll want to go for the $200 tax stamp for the SBR

I have one air pistol, not really something I ever use. The SBR however, intrigues me, may investigate that further. Any other ideas to go along with it?

Decided to go 300 blackout, ordered a 10in green mountain barrel and looking for a good can that won't break the bank, any suggestions?

Any chance I could get that from you? I try to make things out of gun parts, like my pen holder that is a .38 cylinder.

In Neosho, close enough, I'll give him a call, thanks.

Sorry man, had to cut up the upper to get it apart. Recovered the barrel and the BCG they are good, the rest is toast. Checked the barrel, going to reuse it. Not sure about the BCG.

BCGs are no longer quenched in unicorn blood, I'd replace it.  The bolt itself might be ok as a backup spare.

Usually the bolt takes a bigger sacrificial hit after a kB! than does the carrier.
