any hits lately on a complete upper flat top m4 maybe?off brand or used? in missouri? im a newb can i buy an upper with no bolt and not worry about headspace?

I don't know where in the state you are, but Patriot Supply in Ashland has several uppers in stock right now. (or they did a few days ago)

They have 'blemished' receivers - both upper and lower - on their website and will post up on FB when they do.
