Those are cute.....my shotgun ammo won't fit in there. You boys need to step it up! ![]() I only manage to keep about 1000 rounds of each caliber on hand... not because I feel that's enough, but because I'm shooting it almost as fast as I can afford to buy it. :) |

I have to store my ammo on big shelves and shit...
Little Cabinet is cute but not quite good enough for me... I keep 22LR 556 9mm 40 45ACP 762 12 Ga 45 Long Colt 45-110 Sharps 30-06 Enough of each to hold out a while if need be... Just too much for that cabinet! |

I have a cabinet in addition to stacks of .50 and .30 cal ammo cans. .45-70 .405 Winchester 7.92X57 Mauser .303 British .30-06 7.62X54R 7.62X51 7.62X39 .30 Carbine 5.56X45 .22 hornet .45 ACP .45 Auto rim 10 mm Auto 9mm Largo 9X19 .357 Magnum .38 Special .380 ACP 9mm Makarov .32 ACP .25 ACP .22 LR .22S 12g 20g .410 Technically I also have a .30-30, but I never brought it over from my dad's place when I moved. There just never seems to be room for it at my place. The reason I don't own a .40S&W is because I'm tired of buying guns in calibers that I don't already own and have ammo for. |
Just don't store ammunition in the trunk of your car...

Quoted: Nice..... We don't need to discuss my ammo and powder storage. Let's just say there's no food in the kitchen cabinets for lack of space. I'm witcha. But IMO PB&Js (you remember, the "white privilege" sandwiches) taste better with jelly instead of Bullseye. |

Im lucky I only keep 3 rounds on hand. Easier to store. I have about half a box of .38Special rounds and a full box of fifty .22lr rounds. Any more would just be excessive. Half a box of .38? Shit thats living high on the hog. I just keep all 6 cylinders full and buy another round when I need another. |

Years back, when decent gun deals could actually be found at a pawn shop, I was over at one of the pawn shops on Minnesota Ave in KCKs looking for just such a deal. In walks Homey and asks the employee something along the lines of "How much fo a box of thirty-eight bullets?" to which the employee responds something along the line of "$20 for the whole box". Homey thinks for a second and responds with "Whatchu mean 'the whole box'?" The employee responds, "$20 for the whole box, or $1 a round". Homey thinks on it for a few seconds and says "I'll take six". Gotta respect a man that knows exactly what he needs for the upcoming job. BTW, they had nothing that I would consider a deal, for me, that day. |

glad to know I'm not the only one that keeps a katana in the safe for when the zombie samurai attack. lol LOL yeah there are a few blades in that vicinity. I'm only allowed to have the bokken out when people are home. Apparently I make the women of the house nervous when I'm swinging it about the confined rooms of the house. No injuries!... (yet). http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r143/Jaredcm1/Guns/IMG_20121008_141109_B.jpg She lets you swing a bokken around the house? Christ those things are just about as dangerous as the actual sword. |
