What gun do you guys hate cleaning?

I just got done cleaning my AR's from OFAST. That damn wolf ammo, I'm done with that shit. I shot 700rds of it through one of the ARs and it was very dirty. I also shot 500 rds of brown bear, it wasn't that bad. I'm beginning to be a big fan of the BB.

I've shot prob 3k in all variations of wolf ammo.

Since the ammo price drop I been shooting my Federal XM193 and it is the most dirtiest nastiest ammo I have ever shot out of anything in my life.

I cannot believe this much gunk come out of anything. def shooting the rest of it off

Brake cleaning from Wally World at less than $3 a can works wonders. I hose down pretty much everything I own with it and makes cleaning easy..

I hate cleaning any gun, but your thread seems to be more about ammo than the guns.

I clean my carry gun fairly often, but any others are annually at best.

I used to be a clean it every time I fire it kind of guy, but I'm backing away from that approach now.

I find the 22/45 and, to a lesser extent, the 10/22 to be inconvenient to disassemble. I can tear down all my other guns effortlessly without tools.

As far as the actual cleaning goes, the title of worst part of a gun to clean probably goes to the star chamber on ARs.

If you're going to use brake cleaner, make sure it is the non-chlorinated variety and keep it away from wood and polymer parts.

I use Super Tech which is non-chlorinated. It works great on my XD, Tech-9, Uzi, AR-15, and others with polymer parts and have no problems.

I must be weird...

I truly enjoy cleaning my guns...

I'm probably a little too anal about it even... Tootpicks and QTips every time my stuff is fired.

I'll usually spend most of a Sunday afternoon after going shooting on a Saturday cleaning my gear back up.

I clean my guns within a couple weeks of shooting them, and I tear them down and clean them meticulously.  If a white patch comes back with black on it, it's not done.

My 22/45 isn't such a big deal with the clark bushing.  I'd say I probably like cleaning the 12 ga's least of all.  More so than the AR for sure, but I have a piston gun.

My BIL found several partial boxes of .40 when he moved into the house he bought. He gave them to me. All was Federal.

The "tactical" duty stuff wasn't too bad, but the "American Eagle" was the dirtiest ammo I've ever seen! There were only about 20 rounds left in the box, but it just that 20 rounds were enough to choke my Hi-Power.

I did get a stronger trigger return spring for it, apparently if you remove the mag safety, you need one.

The Cabela's and Walmart American Eagle I buy doesn't seem to be any dirtier than anything else.

For me, it would have to be my Hi-Point carbine.  Same issues as a 10/22, but with an even touchier bolt hold open.

My experience has been that Federal & CCI ammo tends to be cleaner than Remington & Winchester.  Of course all the commie ammo is dirty dirty dirty!

I enjoy cleaning and lubing my Larue rifles, 300BLK, Glock pistols, and even enjoyed tearing down my new Springfield 1911 today. I do NOT enjoy tearing down and cleaning any of my .22 guns....and especially my Element .22 silencer.

Gonna have to take it to Eric's to bead blast the lead out completely again.

The ARs and my 10/22 don't ever get cleaned. My 226 and 1911 get cleaned about every other time out. I have a Colt New Frontier that I hate cleaning so much that I don't shoot it anymore.

My AR never gets clean but I don't shoot crap ammo through mine either.

When you reload AR ammunition you have lots of choices in clean burning powders.
