I have one, and they are very easy to run. I had a buddy try mine and he dumped a whole mag the very first time he tried it. He could not stop laughing....haha.

They are fun and easy.

There was one for sale in the KC Craigslist for $25 under retail.   Supposedly NIB.

They work great! Be prepared to buy more ammo

A few folks that have shot mine had problems getting it to work right at first but before the first mag is out they had it figured out.

Some people have a hard time with them, but once they "get it" they have a blast.

They are particularly awesome on a lightweight SBR.

I was going to post "in before Festus" but I should have known better. I think he has an alarm that goes off when someone mentions slide fire.

So I'll just leave these here...

They are even more fun on an SBR with a silencer attatched. Very Fast.

I think the biggest problem folks have with them is finding a range that will allow you to shoot "full auto".

Has anyone ran the stock on a 22 upper?
5/16/2012 6:27:44 AM EDT
[#14]
I tried with a dedicated .22 upper. It's just too heavy to get any action . They say you can with the S&W 15-22's if you run Mini Mags, though I have not tried it.

I built an upper with a 6.5" barrel very light weight forend and is a very light setup. The weight of the lower combined though and its still just to heavy. Maybe with a carbon upper and lower it would work. Like the dedicated m&p22 rifle works.

Yeah, I would imagine a 1.5# trigger would probly help a ton.

if I run Factory ammo it is a Sewing machine. If I run reloads Not So Good. could just be me

Yup. You need a stupid light trigger for it to work on a .22. I don't think suppressed is an option.

I had to get a Geissele SSA for mine to work with 5.45x39. The heavy hammer spring made it difficult to run.
