Anybody who has filled one of these out, what did you put in box 15 for the reason who should be approved to have a suppressor? Hobby, target shooting, training, etc?
Also, can any FFL handle the transfer? |

Sounds good. Thanks guys. Follow up question - can any FFL handle the transfer or do they need to have a specific designation? Any FFL can receive an NFA item but the cost would be higher and the wait would be longer since they would transfer in and out on form 4. If you go with an FFL/SOT they receive the suppressor on form 3 in a fraction of the time (4-8 weeks) and the transfer is tax free since they pay $500-1000 each year for their SOT. |
