Thanks Blitz , Beltfed & ?Stumpy?

Had a CCW class on Sat. for 9 family members(had mine since the beginning) at my place on Sat 11th ,everybody passed  I'd be worried if they didn't.
I haven't talked to everybody yet , but the ones I did really enjoyed it , appreciated hearing Blitz's story , just reinforced the reason they wanted a CCW in the first place.

BTW : I think we have 8 more wanting another class

Thanks again guys.

What do you have to do to pass the class, like actual shooting?  I'm asking because I'm looking to take a CCw class in less than a month.

Goldeneye,
Would think that the requirements for Ohio are different than for us here in Missouri.

Shooting wise, 50 rounds each from revolver and semi auto for practice , and 20 each for score 15/20 in the black (B27)  from 7 yards.  If you can't pass , you got PROBLEMS

ETA ; I should add , I was in and out of the class , helping get the range setup and getting lunch. So I MAY be incorrect I took mine 6 year ago , when it was EASIER.

Thanks for that. Never knew what the course entailed. I go for mine in 2 weeks.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to come out and teach the class.

It was a pleasure putting it on for your family and I would love to be able to come out and do it again for the people that missed it and any others that would like to join in.  Just shoot me an email or IM.  Josh should have my number now as well and you're more than welcome to call.

If my buddy ever launches my website, I'll make sure to send you a link with potential dates as well.  I'm always up for working out an agreeable date between us though, like we did this time.

You have a great family by the way, and I really enjoyed meeting and talking with them.

Thanks Chad. I'm learning a little more about teaching the class each time I do one and want to make the next class better than the last.  I'm going to work on trying to make the really basic stuff a little more interesting.

Yep its tuff to do sometimes...Just work your knowledge into each section along with your method and philosophy of self protection..It will all come together!!! A lesson plan always changes. I used to just make sure i made notes in my plan when i changed or heard a better idea to use..

^This. I have taught countless classes from boy scout age to adults in a CCW class and not a class goes by that I don't alter something in my notes.

Of course I try to keep a very open mind and my method/philosophy of carry has changed significantly since I first started carrying and I like to think that my classes have improved since then.
