Wearing the 2005 Yukon Wheels and Gonnapop brand tires (not the Maypop Michelins they put on it) and the Frontend down in the weeds

After Levelling it adding the 2000 Silverado Alloys I bought along with New and I mean NEW Firestone Destination AT tires (20th Week of 2011 MRF Date)

Looks nice with the new feet. What did you have to do to level it out?

Tightened up the Torsion Bar Bolts...
Took it to the Old Wal-Mark parking lot found a relatively level spot near the building
Got out the ol' tape measure Measured from the Wheel Arch to the center of the axle
Noted the difference (on both sides front back and cross...
then got out the 1/2" drive ratchet with an 18mm socket and crawled under, measured the amount of bolt protruding and tightened it a quarter inch...
Moved to the other side repeat...
bounced the front end, rinse lather and repeat, now I have about 3/4" difference front to back and the sides are level. so it still has 3/4" of drop to the front.
it HAD 3" of dump in the front. and was sitting on the Bump Stops.

ETA I went to a 265/75R16 instead of the 245/70R16 a bit taller and wider...

LOL...Thank heaven for abandoned Walmarts. Leveling it out definitely changes the profile for the better. It is also amazing how the five spoke Silverado rims with the lug nuts showing look so much better than the six spoke rims with the lugs nuts hidden. The larger size tires go with the manly sized SUV and ascent the new rims. I bet it rides much better too now that the front suspension  is not resting on the bump stops.

That Video keeps getting labled as such but NO the USSS does NOT have Miniguns in the Presidential Motorcade. Can you imagine the fallout if they ever deployed such a weapon in the protection detail? HO LEE FARK! The Repurcussions would bring that administration to it's knees!

The SUVs accompanying the motorcade are equipped in varied fashion, there is a Comm Relay Truck that is the SUV with all the antennas all over it.
They are all also 3/4 ton or specially built 1 ton chassis, mine is a half ton.
At least TWO gun trucks but that is just USSS PPD with a Trunk Monkey...

Notice these are not factory wheels! Bolt Togethers with Run Flats and a 3/4 Ton center cap... Same type as the "Beast" wears...

Some are ancilliary vehicles carrying aides additional security personnel others are used to carry the kids to school.

Be sure and recon your route for motorcade operations...

Vehicle Logistics

Mike Dillon does have some nice Toys
I know we do have a former State Department Diplomatic Security Service member on the MO Board...
Before I would put a minigun in a motorcade I would put a Mk19...

I envision flip flops, Hawaiian shirt, and orange dummy grenade.  But thats just the kind of detail AFSOC needs.
