Huh, so it's like fleet week in NYC (those are so awesome if you're one of the Marines, so many women!). I wonder if I hop back into the blues if I would drink for free like I used to?

I think I might try and make it depending on work. Does anyone know what units are attending?

We will be bringing the skids end of next week.

Not sure I want to give away all the cool details- but the best "air show" stuff will happen well before the demos kick off for the weekend.  Check out the fly in Monday morning at the arch.  It'll be the bee's knees.

Anybody want to say hi, I'll be with the Cobra at the arch Mon/Tues.  We can talk about the internal/external/terminal ballistics of the 20mm.

There will also be a pair of H-1s at the war memorial all week.

And I always like to visit the local gun shops when travelling...

Where should I go?

Can you advise where the V-22 will be at?  I'll be sure to bring my son down to see the Cobra.  They flew those extensively at Whiteman in Knob Noster when I was getting my aviation degree in Warrensburg.  Had a few guys going to school with me who flew them.  Was disconcerting to see some of the canopy fractures from the blades when they were practicing some of their emergency drills (I think auto-rotate but it was over 20 years ago)
