Killed after being shot 12 times. Michael Platt was shot by Jerry Dove with a 9mm 115 FMJ the bullet went through his upper right arm and deep into his chest stopping just short of his heart. The Coroner said that this wound was a non survivable this happened early in the fight while Platt was still seated in the vehicle. He walked around the scene under his own power bringing lethal and severe fire upon the agents. Even to the point of trying to drive away in an FBI G-car... Agents outnumbered them 4 to 1... FOUR TO ONE!!! and the two still almost got away. Think about this when you know of gang bangers buying rifle caliber pistols and other long guns... You CCW a what? Most of us don't wear armor daily... |

"Think about this when you know of gang-bangers buying rifle caliber pistols and other long guns..." I don't know any gang-bangers, or what they buy.
Seriously? Ever been to a gun show? I have seen them OBVIOUSLY having their Girlfriend/wives making straw purchases for them AK pistols AK Rifles I have heard the conversation at Cabelas "I don't know anyone who can buy a gun" "I Think my mama can still buy a gun" There have been a number of Rolling gun battles in KC where the participants are armed with AK pistols and AR Pistols... |

I've been to lots of gun shows, and didn't see anything like that. I see more rural types than city types. The only time I've seen something like what AFSOC is describing was about 18 years ago at TargetMasters. They've since closed up that Fenton shop. Not too many gang-banger types making ostentatious displays in the Union/Franklin County gun shops that I've noticed lately. |

Isn't this the shootout that led to the development of the 10mm which was eventually cut back to the 40 S&W? Not the DEVELOPMENT the Bren Ten existed prior to this shootout by a few years. The Smith 10mm and the Colt Delta The FBI loading was a reduced recoil load and S&W developed the Short and Weak loading from that. |

Saw this very thing being attempted at the gun show in Columbia two weeks ago... Thankfully the boys at the CMMG table were like and told them no sale. Pulled an AK out of a guys pants at a DWI checkpoint last month. Wasnt a pistol, but sawed down stock and barrel...ATF is picking up that case IIRC

I've seen it.. At the Cabelas in Mills Mall, the Bass Pro Shops in St. Charles and the St. Charles Convention Center Gun shows... Seen them buying AK Rifles, AK Pistols and Hi Point pistols.... Overheard them talking sh!t about ""Blasting on Fools"" "Wit dis MothaFker" and other bs...... When I kinda ranted and complained about seeing and over hearing these Choir boyz, I was told by a few people that I was racists.... Funny, I never said what race they were.... The person calling me racist, made the assumption... What that make them? |
