Price went up .20 in Columbia over night!!!
3.79 in Columbia 3.55 at the Pilot Grove exit 3.59 in Marshall this am |
| $3.89 here in Imperial, just gotta love it,dont much matte if it is $10 a gallon still gotta go to work so you can spend $200 a week on gas out of your $500 a week paycheck and still not manage to pay the mortgage on something, fine ass country we live in right now. |

Hhhhhmmmmm..... Gasing up is a short term fix to a long term issue. You guys have heard me rant about what's coming.......
It's not here yet, but it's coming and it's far nastier than anything we see now. What's coming this summer will cut our budgets to the bone. Gas up ?? More like save up and cut any plans for spending.

It went from $3.649 yesterday to $3.899 today that is a 25 cent jump overnight, now that is change you can believe in. Why do gas stations bother with the .9 of a cent? It's not like there is a denomination to pay that with and they round up anyway. It's called Psychological pricing. Makes the human mind think the price is lower just because of the first numbers you read. It doesn't have to make sense, it's just the human brain at work.....

Even if or when oil does fall back towards a reasonable price, I love how the pump prices ROCKET up and trickle back down. Oil lost a little ground today but no much OIL - $105.97 Oil Ends $3 Lower, Near $106, on Signs of Slowing Demand
If you want some really fun math, figure out why oil and fuel costs don't increase proportionally. The cost of fuel refinement shouldn't be increasing with the cost of oil, so why is it that the % increase in gas is (significantly) higher than the % increase in oil. |

Why wouldn't the cost of refinement cost more ?
Takes energy to refine energy. Basically I get what your saying but your not thinking the process through to consumer. Gas doesn't get to the pump via pipeline. To pile more on....Saudis announced they are cutting production. Boils down to supply and demand. If we the consumer don't like the price of gas we can stop buying it. Last weekend I noticed a Mom, Son duo peddling their bikes along Stadium. Mom had a sticker on her bike." One less Car." Passed a new natural gas filling station for cars this morning in Conway, Ar.
