| As a parent myself, I fully understand being worried about your son. I just got back from over there and though I didn't receive any direct fire, I took some indirect in both IRQ and AFG. It's definitely no fun being there and having our guys die over there, but it sure beats having to fight the bad guys here. If we don't take the fight to them, they will for dang sure bring it to us. Like I said, I'd rather fight them on and blow up their territory than ours. |

If your Son wants to go. IT's your job to support him, that means when he calls home your voice had better be reassuring. That means your faith is unwavering. When he calls home and needs to know your alright and he's doing the right thing. You'd damn well stand tall and tell him he's doing the right thing. I don't know how many times I've pulled off to the side of a road to pray for my soldier when he was in Iraq. Pray because I had\have faith that he'll be fine and he's got it right with God should his time come. It's not death that should bother a man, it's the way he dies that should concern him.
