Over the weekend, the wife, some friends and I went to Jakessteaks down on the landing and we had what they we calling ""The Bull"...  Its their flagship, 25oz Bone in Fillet, with choice of two sides...

We started with a few drinks and a Tortilla sampler, which is large order of fresh made Tortillas with 3 kinds of Dips, then had the Meal...

To be honest, we were a tad let down as we had heard how big it was supposed to be, and it really wasn't bad at all...  Also they claim, If you can finish it we'll put your name and picture on our Champion Wall of Fame or something  like that...

I really think had I skiped the Tortillas and had a bit less of the Jalepeno Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans which really were damn good, I could have easily knocked down another Fillet and not felt like I was going to pop...

There's a place in Wisconsin Dells that has 32oz steaks, and I have no problem finishing it.

While not a steak, Kreis restaurant on Lindbergh in Creve Couer has an "Extra Cut" prime rib that's 64 ounces.  I never had the guts to try it myself, but I've seen other people who've ordered one.  It seemed to be the size of a Tombstone pizza, about 3" thick... four pounds of meat.  I've had the smaller size prime rib there and it was excellent (best in town, I'd say).

No, it's just a little bar and grill named Port Vista, but they cook a great steak.

Monday is the day to go, because the steak is less than $15 then;
