I am needing to get my class A for my job, I already have my permit, work is going to train me and what not. I really don't have a problem driving per say I am just worried about the backing portion on the MO driving test. You guys got any suggestions or hints for this test?
Thanks |

Relax. Study and memorize the pre-trip inspection.
Go slow. Study and memorize the pre-trip inspection. You should be trusting of and proficient with your mirrors at this stage of the game. Study and memorize the pre-trip inspection. Make sure the person testing you can see that you're constantly looking in your mirrors even while moving forward. Study and memorize the pre-trip inspection. Pay attention to the bridge height signs. Study and memorize the pre-trip inspection. |

It was early 90's when I took mine, and Flatulence is exactly right(LOL) Have only been behind of a big rig once in the last 5years, but I keeps my license. I has class A.

They both failed the pretrip inspection. One of the guys was really worried about his backing, but it was the pretrip that got him. |

So I will study the pre trip a lot, I don't have to take the test until the end of June, so we will see what takes place then |
| It's the pre-trip that gets you like others have stated. I grandfathered in with a chauffeurs license when CDL was introduced. Just gave away my age didn't I ? Parallel parking is much easier than it sounds. I've heard guys say that's not necessary but they don't stop to think about some of the rest areas. They do parallel park. It's simple you swoop in with your nose and nose out. Then track your trailer tandems back on your blind side using mind visualization and blind side mirror. Might sound difficult but in reality we use visualization everyday when driving. The very worst thing that can happen when faced with a difficult task such as blind side backing is tunnel vision. Same principle applies to driving as shooting with tunnel vision. Be aware of your 360 at all times. |
