Cooked up a little piece of Beef for Easter dinner on the smoker yesterday!!!  Crappy cellphone pic, oh well..... Dry rubbed it on wed, after trimming it some.  Started the smoker at 1130, Kingsford and hickory from just south of the house, sliced the first piece off at 530, when it hit 135deg.  No, there weren't any leftovers, must have done something right, eh!!!!

Looks pretty dang good, quality job there man!  We smoked a couple small bacon explosions tonight.  One plain for a control, and one with some chopped up green pepper and onion with pepperjack.  Both turned out really good, but we are trying to come up with creative ways to eat it now.  I'm thinking biscuits and gravy...

If you're in STL, I can help you out with that.......cheap.  I've sold about 5 tons so far this year.

PS:  Kingsford is made of sawdust, starch, petroleum, and other BYPRODUCT crap.  Fire King from Steelville & Belle is 100% oak (and an occasional rock.)  Cowboy from Lowe's is made with floor scrap, yet says 100% natural, stay away!  Do yourself a big favor and pick up some Fire King.

Nope, but if I here of one, I'll let you know.  Next time I'm at the factory I'll ask if they have anyone in KC.

How cheap? For let's say a 35 gallon trash can full?

From me.......it's the cheapest that way if you want to buy more than 5 bags.  Kind of a group buy deal I do.

If you just need a bag here, bag there––Kenricks, Imperial Market, Market Basket in IL, and a few other places.  But they all get $12-15 + tax per 20/lbs bag.  From me it's $8-10 per 20 lbs bag, with delivery, no tax.  Most order 5-10 bags, several order 50-100 then distribute it themselves.

Send me an email and I'll put you on the mailing list and forward the info.  STLcharcoal (AT) gmail.com

I don't sell it loose.  It comes in 20 lbs bags, and works out to $0.43-0.50 lbs.  See the info above.
