The wife and I got to spend last week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!!! We stayed at the RIU Palace Pacifico, an all inclusive resort. Booked it thru a local travel agent. We can't wait to go back!!! The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the service was amazing!!! They treat you like a king, every minute of every day!!! 12 other couples made the trip from our area, fun to party with friends!!!!Lots of pics coming....

Went for a boatride one day, to an island, did some whale watching, saw dolphins as well, and did some snorkeling. Then, we drank more!!!lol

Our last evening there, we took a cab down the beach a ways, to a little local spot, and had grilled lobster, mahi mahi, and shrimp on the beach!!! Awesome time...

You picked a great resort, my wife and I love Riu. We have stayed with them five times so far and will continnue to do so. You ought to try the Riu Palace in Playa Del Carmen, well actually there are two Riu Palaces in Playa now.... either one is fantastic.

Beautiful. Looks like you had a great time. I am glad to see more people are finding out mexican resorts are as nice as they are. BTW, skip Playa del Carmen, go to Cozumel instead. The wife and I will be there in May.
