After waiting for months I finally received my first shipment of LWRCI REPR's yesterday.  I had a couple customers over that got to see them but some didn't get to see them so I'm going to post a few pictures for those that missed them.

I will post some more details later if someone is not familar with these.  I figure that most of you guys have heard about them or read something about them so I will skip on the details for now.

Yes but they are F'ing sweet! I was lucky enough to be over at SUB_MG's house picking up four Sharps AR-15 lower receivers the other day. He handled the transfer for me. While I was there he opened the shipping box. I had never heard of a REPR before but that rifle with the short barrel installed is nice..very nice.

that is pretty slick.  I do want a .308 based AR, and that would be quite an interesting piece to own.

(Will there be a Civilian Friendly model?)

Aren't those something like $3500? I wish I could afford that, because those fuckers look to be the shit.

I am not 100% certain, but I think thats the price for JUST one upper 16"/18"....I think its more for the 12" upper to have the CQB/Long distance engagement pair. I would really prefer to have the pair if I were to buy one. Then buy the special jacket/backpack like SUB-MG described to me so I could have the 12" upper for CQB and the 18" for engaging targets at a distance.

Yes, Ambi bolt release, left hand side charging handle, 4 position gas block, short stroke gas piston, cold hammer forged barrel with NiCorr finish....these things are so nice but they are not cheap.

The list price is $3600 for the 12"-16" and $3800 for the 18"-20" which come with the Geissele Trigger.  They are selling additional uppers for $1900 with the gun purchase as a package.

Very nice, and they are not much more $$ than an Armalite SASS.

Probably a better rifle than a POF and with better customer service.

ETA - 55 RPM sustained seems a little over optimistic.

That is their Multi Regional Earth (MRE) finish which is similar to coyote tan.  The upper/lower receivers always look gold in pictures but it is more of a dark earth tone.  I wasn't much of a fan of the color when I first saw it in some pictures but I changed my mind when I finally got to see one first hand.

My wife picked the MRE for her M6A3.  I just wish it would have made it here before we went to the carbine class.  I had my M6A2 available for the carbine class but there was no way I could afford to shoot 700-800 rounds of 6.8 during the class.
